Use & House Rules – CAMPREADY

These rules apply to all customers who rent a rooftop tent or camping equipment from CAMPREADY. They are designed to ensure the safety, durability, and comfort of both our gear and your journey.

1. Use of Rooftop Tent & Accessories

Always read the manual or instructions before departure. Not sure? Ask for help or a demo during pickup.

Make sure your vehicle is parked on a flat surface when setting up the tent – this prevents damage and ensures a good night’s sleep.

The ladder must be placed firmly and upright – not on loose stones, mud, or sloped ground.

Check the total height of your car + rooftop tent before departure. Watch out for tunnels, barriers, and parking garages.

Driving with the rooftop tent is allowed up to 120 km/h. Higher speeds are at your own risk.

2. Cleaning & Maintenance

The tent may only be cleaned with clean water – no soap or cleaning products, as these damage the waterproof coating.

All kitchen equipment must be returned clean and complete.

Remove dirt, sand, and mud from the tent before returning. A €75 cleaning fee applies for heavily soiled or wet tents, sleeping bags, or kitchen gear.

3. Prohibited Use & Behavior

Smoking, open fires, or barbecuing in or near the tent is not allowed. Lingering smells make the tent unsuitable for future rental.

Sprays (e.g. deodorant, hairspray, insect repellent) may not be used inside the tent.

Pets are not allowed in the tent, to prevent damage to mosquito nets and allergic reactions for future renters.

In cases of suspected abuse or improper use, we reserve the right to charge extra fees or deny further rentals.

4. Responsibility & Safety

The renter is fully responsible for damage caused by incorrect use, unsafe actions, or negligence.

The rooftop tent remains the property of CAMPREADY. Subletting or lending to third parties is not permitted.

Equipment may only be used within Europe, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5. Additional Rules & Tips

Gas canisters are not included but can be purchased at our location or elsewhere.

Do not leave valuables in the tent or car at unattended locations.

The main renter must be at least 25 years old and have held a valid driving license (category B) for at least 5 years.
